Course content
Lectures: 1. The organization of teaching business subjects in secondary schools; 2. The qualification as a requirement for the quality of the workforce, its components; 3. The curriculum in vocational education and its analysis; 4. The concept of education in economic subjects; 5. The contribution of the project based concept learning in economics subjects; 6. Programmed teaching; 7. The function of a fictitious company in the teaching of business subjects; 8. The creating of a thematic plan; 9. Diagnosis results; 10. Additional activities helping to link the theory with practice (practice in corporate organizations, field trips).

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to make students acquire the important aspects of modern didactics of economic subjects. They will acquire skills to plan an individual research project, process grant projects for enrichment and development of education in economic subjects, to define the scientific objectives of such projects and explore the theoretical and experimental methods for their solution. They will broaden their skills to the search for sources of information in scientific economic and educational-psychological journals and databases. In addition, they will deepen their skills in new forms of teaching - project method, and the strategic use of advanced simulation software, etc.

Prerequisites
Completion of the subject DEP1.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination, Seminar work

Examination Requirements: The students will write a seminar paper focused on the evaluation and preparation of curricula, thematic plans. Each student will prepare a project lessons plan and develop or recommend the use of already developed teaching materials for the lesson. The students will write a test.
