Course content
Objective of the course is to deepen knowledge of basic macroeconomics course and to provide theoretic basis for applied economics discipline. Lectures: 1. Introduction, Consumption Function 2. Determination of Equilibrium Value of Income in Two, Three and Four Sectoral Economy. 3. Investment Function and curve IS 4. Curve LM5 - IS - LM analysis 6. Impact of Fiscal and Monetary Policy 7. Life Cycle Theory and Theory of Permanent Income 8. Investment in to Gross Fixed Capital, Housing Construction and Reserves 9. Exchange Rates, Capital Nobility in Under Floating Exchange Rates a Under Fixed Exchange Rates. AS-AD 10. Long-term Economics Growth and Economics Development 11. Neoclasics Model of Economics Growth, Theory of Endogenous Growth and Supply-side Theory 12. Money - Demand, Supply 13 - 14. Costs Connected with Unemployment and Inflation, Budget Surplus and Inflation

Objective of the course is to deepen knowledge of basic macroeconomics course and to provide theoretic basis for applied economics discipline.
Students understand the basic principles of macroeconomics.
Prerequisites
The course of Macroeconomics I is a prerequisite for the course of Macroeconomics II .

Assessment methods and criteria

Credit Requirements: Elaboration of seminar paper work on given topic. Written test mainly for macroeconomics mathematical problems (to gain minimum 60% of total number of points). Time for test is 40 minutes. Credits will be awarded not earlier than 14 days before the end of the semester in accordance with the measure of Dean No. 124/2017 Article 15. Examination Requirements: Written test and oral part of exam. Final mark is based on the results of the credit tests and the discussion. Test contain mainly theoretical questions, two graphs and short macroeconomics mathematical problem. Students must reach minimum 16 points of total 32 points to pass test and continue to oral part of exam. Time for test is 30 minutes. The examinations will be written 3 weeks before the beginning of the examination period in accordance with the measure of Dean No. 124/2017 Article 15.
