Learning outcomes
To become acquainted with applied ethics as a new manifestation of practical philosophy (from the second half of the 20th century) and with its selected subdisciplines. Attention is paid mainly to the analysis and normative evaluation of key moral problems that these subdisciplines solve. Emphasis is placed on the importance of the principles and assumptions of general ethics in solving these moral problems. The main ethical perspective is the perspective of moral responsibility.
The ability to recognize, analyze, and to evaluate in a normative manner the key moral problems in the selected areas of applied ethics.
Prerequisites
A basic orientation in general ethics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Interview, Test

Test and oral exam. The student must demonstrate at least a basic knowledge of the subject.
