Course content
- Introduction into the anthropology of religion - Religion, culture, and environment - Human body as a religious symbol - Culture and ritual

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
Learning outcomes
Lectures introduce into the core methods of anthropological approach to religion (methodology of field work, definitions and typologies of religion etc.) and than focuse on selected important themes of anthropology of religion that could be interesting for the students and can be easily applied.
Students understand the principles of human symbolical thinking and learn to respect and value the richness, depth, and diversity of various human pieces of knowledge, confidences and beliefes. The course could be understand as a an invitation to the interreligious dialogue.
