I. Presocratics II. Sofists, Socrates, Lesser Socratic schools III. Plato IV. Aristotle V. Hellenistic schools VI. Neoplatonism VII. Christianity and Greek Philosophy VIII. Patristic, Augustine IX. End of the Ancient Thought: Boethius and Pseudo-Areopagite

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book)
Learning outcomes
To present the main thesis of the greek philosophy, especially of the thinking of Plato and Aristotle.
The student gets the overview of the history of the ancient, of the ways of philosophical thought and argumentation in the period.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam

1) Written test 2) Reading of prescribed primary texts - at least 2 items from the specified list, by different authors.
