0. Noetics, epistemology, theory of cognition, noetic problem vs. ontological problem of cognition. 1. Cognition - Aristotelian conception and its alternatives 2. Knowledge - traditional and modern definitions 3. Justification, theories of justification 4. Possibility and necessity 5. Analyticity and synteticity. 6. A priori - a posteriori 7. Certainty and doubt; methodical and resultant doubt 8. Noetical problem, scepticism 9. Theory of science

Learning outcomes
Becoming familiar with basic notions and problems of noetics/epistemology by confronting traditional and modern approaches.
