- Concept of culture in the history of European thought - Anthropological theory of culture - Essence of humanity - Anthropogenesis and the genesis of human culture - Genes and culture - Cultural diversity in time and space - Cultures in contact and cultural change

Learning outcomes
The course introduces into the theory, use, and aspects of culture as a key concept of anthropological study of man in a wide crosscultural perspective.
