Course content
1) Introduction, instructions for seminar work, basic terminology and problems, distribution of papers 2) Some important turning points in the history of environmental awareness 3) The main manifestations and impacts of the environmental crisis 4) The human roots of the environmental crisis 5) Integral ecology I. 6) Integral ecology II. 7) Environmental education and spirituality I. 8) Environmental education and spirituality II. 9) Environmental education as a part of EVVO 10) The main concepts of environmental education 11) Searching for a common framework for environmental education.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), E-learning, Work with multi-media resources (texts, internet, IT technologies)
Learning outcomes
To introduce the students to the main reasons for environmental education and show them the theoretical base of environmental education. The students will be also introduced to the practical examples of the main concepts of environmental education. The result of the individual´s work of each student will be completing assigned tasks in Moodle and the seminar work.
A basic knowledge about the reasons for environmental education, about the theoretical base of environmental education and about the practical examples of the main concepts of environmental education.

Studying of the basic literature Self study in Moodle course 75% participation in seminar courses Seminar work (according to the formal and content criteria, in printed form, minimum number of characters 9000).
