Course content
Seminary reading of selected passages of Scotus's Ordinatio, De primo principio and Quaestiones in Metaphysicam supplemented with explanatory lectures.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Work with text (with textbook, with book)
Learning outcomes
Make the students familiar with the elements of metaphysical thought of Jon Duns Scotus.
- Ability to read, translate and interpret a scholastic text - Understanding the basics of Scotus's metaphysics
Prerequisites
- Basic knowledge of Latin - Basic understanding of scholastic philosophy (bachelor degree)

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Systematic student observation, Development of laboratory protocols

- Active participation in the class - 1x translation (prepared at home) - 1x summary of the previous lesson
