Course content
1) Modernism, postmodernism, overcoming of modernism. 2) On the modern problem of liberty. 3) A scientific understanding. 4) Attributes of modern understanding. 5) A share of Church on the origination of modern understanding. 6) The Church and a recession of modern understanding. 7) The postmodernism as an attempt to revise a deconsecration. 8) A thesis on deconsecration in the view of historians. 9) A thesis on deconsecration in the view of sociologists. 10) A thesis on deconsecration in the view of philosophers. 11) A thesis on deconsecration in the view of theologists.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to enable the students to reflex their experiences with a modern era, with a deconsecration and its impact to the church, and to deepen understanding of the causes and effects of mentioned phenomenons.
Students will obtain the ability to interpret modern social processes.

Seminar work

An active participation on lectures. Becoming acquainted with some relevant document and exploiting of knowledges acquired in a discussion.
