Course content
- the Bible as a book of learning - introduction to biblical didactic - biblical didactic in biblical literature and its genres - emotions, personal involvement and critical distance in the Bible study - goals of teaching the Bible - overview of methods for the Bible study in the context of a small group - students' project of Bible study lessons

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Graphic and art activities
Learning outcomes
The aims of this course are: to introduce students to the biblical didactic, to make them acquainted with methods of reading the Bible, both individually and in a small group, to practice these approaches and to evaluate their advantages and limitations. This course will be useful for future animators of biblical groups, for teachers of religion. It can contribute for personal spiritual life of partecipants.
to deepen the comprehensive faculty of biblical text and his message to know the various methods and ways for how read the Bible to formulate and to communicate his own opinion to listen to others to animate the group of young, which want to read with profit the Bible
Prerequisites
Elementary knowledge of both Old and New Testament texts.

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar work

- students will read assigned literature and write a brief review of Baldermann's introductory book; the review will be submitted before the presentation of individual project - students will each prepare his/her own project of Bible study session, i.e. each will prepare and present materials for the bible study - the text chosen for the session, questions arising from the text, its themes, the method chosen for the section, aids for the presentation (songs, craft supplies, skits), questions for the discussion... - the students will do the presentation of their projects on the final session of the course
