Course content
1) The features of historically-critical method. 2) Bultmann - existential definition. 3) A textual pragmatics. 4) Narrative approach. 5) Approaches of various churches. 6) The inspiration and infallibility of Holy Scripture. 7) Postcritical hermeneutics. 8) Intratextual hermeneutics. 9) The plurality of literal senses of Thomas. 10) Conclusions. 11) Hermeneutics in general.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to introduce students into dealing with the Bible like a theological sourse, i.d theological hermeneutics. In the second - practical - part the students demonstrate their gained knowledge on chosen biblical-theological themes.
Each student will gain an ability to read a bible text critically and to interpret it.
