Course content
1. Introduction to become acquainted with other students and teachers, get to know workplace environment 2. Basic organization of courses and sessions 3. Communication with teachers and colleagues 4. Formal requirements for electronic correspondence in the academic environment 5. Formal and essential elements of studies, weighted average of achieved marks, study evaluation 6. Study information system STAG, registration of subjects, and exams enrollment 7. Credit system 8. Choice of elective and optional courses 9. Popularization and professional events at the department - possibilities of involvement and profiling of the student 10. Foreign internships and trips - possibilities 11. Profiling of the student during the study toward to graduation 12. Selection of the topic and the supervisor of the bachelor's thesis 13. Specific requirements of technically oriented final theses 14. Requirements for state final examination and graduation ceremony

Learning outcomes
The course is focused on introduction to the study of technical training. Among others, the student acquire a cognition about the basic principles of university studies, communication and cooperation with teachers and other colleagues, credit system, bursary system, opportunities to participate in cathedral events and internships abroad, assigning and writing a bachelor's thesis and graduation. The student will use the acquired knowledge during the following study.
