Course content
1. Cybernetics and its history 2. - 4. Elementary phenomena of cybernetics as a system, quantity, failure, system relation, regulative, model, object, system structure, continuous and discreet system 5. - 7. System theory, object, system, model. Types of system 8. - 11. System descriptions - inner, outer, continuous, discreet 12. - 14. Sensors and convertors of physical quantities used in automation

Learning outcomes
Basic terms of technical cybernetics, information, analog and discrete signals, converters A/D, D/A, U/f, U/T, U/PWM, number/PWM, actuating device, basic structure of control systems, feedback systems.
The student is to understand the functioning of basic regulation circuits.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of differential and integral calculation.
