Course content
1. Introduction to the subject, work safety, order and organization of the workplace 2. Equipment with tools, care for them 3. Essentials and classification of manual processing of materials 4. Workplace arrangement 5. Methods of exercising practical activities focused mainly on the most frequent techniques of manual material processing 6. Measuring out, marking out 7. Material division - shearing, cutting, chopping 8. Filing, riveting 9. Thread cutting, soldering 10. Hammering, bending, straightening 11. Chiseling, planning 12. Drilling, reaming, countersinking 13. Surfacing, grinding and polishing 14. Minor maintenance, assembly work, ?

Learning outcomes
The training methodology in practical activities concerning manual processing of technical materials and labor safety. During the study, the student conducts a portfolio of his / her didactical materials (presentations, papers, projects, thought maps, preparations for teaching, photo and video documentation of experiments, video sequences from teaching lessons, aids and experiments database, overview of visits during his / her teaching and pedagogical outcomes at school, overview of all promotional events popularizing the disciplines). This portfolio will be used during didactic analysis during the final state exam.
The ability to interpret methodically basic methods of metal machining including related work safety.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of student's work activities (technical works)

Active participation in seminars, elaboration of methodological papers on selected topics. Presentation of instructions of working operations. Submission of products in desired quality.
