Course content
1. Definition of subject of Electromagnetism. 2. Electrostatic field, arrangement of field generated by electric charges, elementrary electric charge . 3. Quantities and units of electrostatic field: permitivity, intensity, electric induction. 4. Coulomb's law, potential electric field. Gauss' equation for electrostatic field. 5. Aplikation of electrostatic field, its force interaction, kapacity, capacitors. 6. Stationary current field, Ohm's law in integral and differential form. 7. Kirchhoff's laws, their generalisation a application at solution of electrical circuits. 8. Alternating current, Faraday's induktion law, transformer, instantaneous value, root-mean square, and mean value alternating current. 9. Work and power of electric current AC and DC. 10. Magnetic field of nature origin and generated by curent flowing through wire and through coil. 11. Quantities and units of electrostatic field, Biot - Savart's law. Ampér's law, force interaction between two wires with current. 12. Aplicatin of magnetic filed, electric machines, engines and generators, magnetics materials. 13. Elektromagnetic radiation, Poynting's vector, Maxwell's equations. 14. Vector calculus, operators, grad., curl., div.

Learning outcomes
Electricity and magnetism - electrostatics, electric field, conducting of electrical current in the various environments. Laws of electromagnetic induction and solving alternative current circuits both from theoretical and practical point of view.
Students will deepen their knowledge of general Physics by electricity and magnetism.
Prerequisites
Students need to be acquainted with primary school Physics.

Oral examination, Written examination
