Course content
1. Technical systems and society. Premises of society and technical branches development. 2. Possibilities of technical branches and the man. Technical laws. 3. Construction and global problems. 4. Technical aesthetic and design. Product quality and its competition ability. 5. Relations between technosphere, biosphere and ecosphere. 6. Technical education significance. Information (significance, sources ...). 7. Inventions, discoveries and society development. An overview of significant inventions, their destiny. 8. The first and second industrial revolution, technical branches in 19th century. 9. Building engineering. Metallurgy. 10. Energy of steam. Hydraulic machines. 11. Textile production. 12. Combustion engines. 13. Transport. Machinery. 14. Electricity and magnetism.

Learning outcomes
Chosen aspets of man - technique influence, technosphere, biosphere and ecosphere relation, technic and technic estetics, art and science relation. Elementary ecological phenomena, existence of living systems conditions, landscape theory, global ecological problems. Methods of ecological education.
Orientation in techical laws, construction, technical esthetics and design, quality of product and its ability to compete. Relations between technosphere, biosphere, ecosphere, art, science and technics.
