Course content
1. Operational amplifiers - history, an ideal operational amplifier, applications in measuring devices. 2. Real operational amplifiers - parameters, mistakes, limitations. 3. Linear circuitry with operational amplifiers. 4. Compartors, amplifiers, rectifiers and non-linear circuitry with operational amplifiers. 5. Active filters with operational amplifiers, signal formation. 6. Digital-analogue converters, parameters, mistakes, application. 7. Analogue-digital integral converters - principals, parameters, application. 8. Analogue-digital feedback converters - principals, parameters, application. 9. Parallel analogue-digital converters, sigma-delta, principals, parameters, application. 10. Configuration and principals of some electronic measuring devices - multimeters, counters, oscilloscopes, spectral analyzers. 11. Time base, generators of shaped oscillations, digital filters. 12. Chosen converters of non electrical quantities onto electrical quantities, principals, application. 13. Systems for computer controlled collection, processing and presentation of measured data. 14. Standard and special buses used in measuring devices, measuring cards.

Learning outcomes
The subject is a continuance of physics study, electronic and electrotechic studies. Getting students to know with elementary circuit functions and electronical measuring devices.
An overview in electronic measuring devices, solving and creating circuits of measuring appliances.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of physics, electronics, basics of electrotechnics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

Active participation, solving problems in measuring technics.
