Course content
1. The most common technical graphic editors - overview. 2. Programs for creating of technical documentation in machinery, building industry, geodesy and electronics. 3. Programs for hardness calculations, branch utilities. 4. AutoCAD, MCAD, Mechanical Desktop, AEC Architektur, GIS, CADKON, INVENTOR, ProIngeneer, CATIA, Microstation, Imagineer Technical, FLY, ORCAD, P-CAD and other. 5. Principals of parametric designing, volume modelling and dimensioning - ANSYS. 6. SolidWorks - getting to know. 7. Entites drawing. 8. Sketch drawing, bounds in sketches, enties manipulation. 9. Dimensioning in sketches, setting back, reflection, grooving. 10. Circular and linear field. 11. Reference geometry. 12. Reference planes and axis. 13. Sketching on the reference planes. 14. Model creating.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Graphic and art activities
Learning outcomes
An overview of mostly used technical graphic editors. Comparing particular program properties, system of work, print outputs formats, file outputs and their potability. Mostly used programs for creating of technical documentation in machinery, engineering, geodesy and electrotechnics.
Orientation in parameter oriented graphic system. Ability to draw outlines and create 3D models therefrom.

Student performance assessment

Seminar paper, active participation.
