Course content
1. Introduction, an overview of machine parts 2. Dividing of machine parts, categorizing according to their function 3. Drawing of elementary machine parts 4. Elementary hardness calculations of simple machine parts 5. Dimensioning of machine parts according to operational conditions 6. Standardised machine parts and standards 7. Standardised machine parts 8. Registers of machine parts in machinery CAD systems 9. Application of machine parts and their function in machines 10. Integration of machine parts into assembly drawings 11. Construction of machine parts 12. ISO, EN, ČSN, DIN standards dealing with machine parts 13. Marking out of machine parts in assembly drawings 14. Integrating of machine parts into machine complexes, appropriateness of their application in operational practice

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
  • Semestral paper - 30 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 35 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 39 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Machine parts dividing. Drawing and hardness computing of machine parts. Normative machine parts, non-normative machine parts, particular norms. Registers of machine parts in AutoCAD. Machine parts using and their functions in machines. Devices of machine parts inserting into drawn machine compositon.
Students are able to proportion, draw and use machine parts in larger machine units.
Completion of TM1

Analysis of student's work activities (technical works)

Students are to prove good orientation in use, proportioning and drawing machine parts.
