Course content
1. Introduction, elementary statics of rigid bodies 2. Investigating of force system balance with common point of application in plane 3. Investigating of net force of force system with common point of application in plane 4. Investigating of force system balance without common point of application in plane 5. Investigating of net force of force system without common point of application in plane 6. Graphical and calculating methods of investigating of force system balance and net force 7. Investigating of forces balance in space 8. Investigating of net force in space 9. Types of supports , static solution of fixed-end beams 10. Static solutions of simple beams on two supports - reactions in supports 11. Passive resistance, sliding friction 12. Friction, rope roughness 13. Rolling resistance, pin friction 14. Investigating of centrums of bodies

Learning outcomes
Fundamentals of statics of rigid bodies. Investigation of balance and resultant of power systems. Solution of embedded and simple beams on two supports - investigation of reactions in supports. Passive resistances, investigation of centers of gravity.
Students learn to calculate equilibrium or resultant of simple force systems applying graphic or calculation method.

Combined exam

Test: students are to find equilibrium or resultant force of a force system applying graphic and calculation method.
