Course content
The physical tasks selection will be determined with respect to the dissertation aims or from the list below. 1) Study of the movement on inclined plane using on-line measurement by Vernier probes. 2) Gravity acceleration measurement by CCD camera. 3) Aerodynamic measurement by Leybold Didactic set. 4) Calorimetry with Cobra3 Phywe system. 5) Damped oscillations study by Vernier and Phywe systems. 6) Interference refractometer using for air refractive index measuring. 7) Malus's law of light polarisation verifying. 8) Study of light diffraction by multiple slits and grating.

Learning outcomes
PhD student proposes at least two new tasks suitable for physical practicum or modifies existing. Then he verifies them and makes out their sample solutions.
Student will acquire the skill to independently propose, measure and process demanding physical tasks.

Development of laboratory protocols

The ability to propose and measure tasks in the laboratory. Knowledge of basic assessment procedures of physical measurements.
