Course content
General plan (it will be practiced on current physical problems practically): Problem solving. The solving strategies. Problem analysis, skill to see and to ask right questions, decomposition into sub-problems, thought experiments, using of induction and analogy, dual strategies utilization, using of the technologies for problems modelling and investigation. Creating tasks. Creativity - the process of creating tasks. Advantages and disadvantages of different assignment formulations, tasks chains, open tasks. Motivation, inspiration, analogy utilization, creation of perspective, formation on the basis of experiments (also thought experiments), creating by progressive transformation of known tasks.

Learning outcomes
Currently the graduates in teaching of physics have little experience with solving problems, i.e. non-standard tasks in elementary physics. With respect to the tasks creation mostly they are only able to vary common educational exercises. The improvement of this situation is the aim of the subject. The content and scope will be adapted to the student's profile.
Student is able to create and solve more or less difficult physical tasks in different ways. Student knows the different solving strategies and he can use a variety of approaches and technologies for their implementation.

Assessment methods and criteria
Test

Knowledge of methods for solving of more or less difficult tasks from physical competitions for primary and secondary schools. The ability to search and find a successful strategy in solving non-standard tasks of elementary physics.
