Course content
1. Physical quantities and their units, SI unit system. 2. Physical measurements. Methods of measurements. 3. Measurement mistakes. 4. Processing of direct measurements. Normal Gauss's distribution. 5. Stating of measurement precision - medium squared, probable and average mistake. 6. Arithmetical average formulas. Processing of indirect measurements results - practical example. 7. Methods of processing of results of measurement - progressive method, limiting method. 8. Methods of processing of results of measurement - method of linear interpolation, method of smallest squares. 9. Graphical methods of processing of results of measurement. 10. Graphical methods of processing of results of measurement - graphical interpolation. 11. Measuring devices class precision. 12. Writing of the measurement report - outline, graphs. 13. Practical examples of measurements and report writing. 14. Test

Learning outcomes
Leading-in into physics measurements. Physics quantities, units, methods of measurement, measurement mistakes, Direct measurement results measurement, Gauss distribution. Stating of measurement precision - medium square, probable and average mistake. Arithmetical average. Inderect measurements results processing, physics quantites dependence, graphical and numerical methods.
Ability to process correctly results of physical measurement.
Prerequisites
Basic course of Mathematics for physicists, integral and differential calculation, calculation of probability.

Analysis of student's work activities (technical works)
