Course content
1. Lead-in to laboratory works, work safety, rules of laboratory works 2. Measuring reports and rules of their writing and editing 3. Getting to know with laboratory equipment and particular laboratory tasks 4. Characteristics and silent time of GM counter 5. Scintillation counter studying 6. Probable characteristics of nuclear processes 7. Measuring of restricted area of semiconductors 8. Stefan-Boltzmann law verifying 9. Stating of maximal energy of beta radiation using absorption 10. Gama radiation studying 11. Hydrogen atom spectrum 12. Dependence of intensity of radiation on distance 13. Photoelectric effect studying 14. Stating of Planck constant using the method of bremsstrahlung

Learning outcomes
Students will verify in experimental way basic phenomena and knowledge in atomic and nuclear physics. Students will be made aware of work satety rules of manipulation ionizing radiation. Ten tasks will be ste.
Student carries out and evaluates and analyses basic measurement in atomic and nuclear physics.

Analysis of student's work activities (technical works)

Students shall complete all tasks and hand in elaborated protocols.
