Learning outcomes
This subject presents basic information about the human-geographical Earth's sphere, first on general-systematic level and consequently on level of selected regions - Europe, Central Europe, Czechia - and as a detailed example on levels of local region and municipality. Lessons are adapted to the requirements of primary schools and result from the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education" (the thematic areas The Place Where We Live, People and Time, People Around Us) and from the curricular documents. They provide appropriate didactical competencies and other pedagogical skills of teachers at primary schools. The subject follows the previous human sciences instruction and integrates the socio-scientific knowledge in the human-geographical domain and in the whole landscape area. Main themes (solved generally, regionally and didactically) - geographical features of population, settlement, agriculture, industry, transport, services and recreation, politic-geographical system, geographical questions about the European Union and the NATO, spatial development of Czechia and Europe, worldwide conflicts and social problems, geographical syntheses and applied geography, geography of the local region, didactics of the subject.
Student competences after graduation of the subject are based on course objestives and the content of the subject (see).
