Course content
1. Introduction to the problems physical geography, introduction to the studies meteorology and climatology 2. Characteristics of atmosphere, basic meteorological elements and their climatological characteristics 3. Basic meteorologic elements and their climatological characteristics 4. Basic meteorologic elements and their climatological characteristics, general circulation of atmosphere 5. General circulation of atmosphere 6. Bases prognoses weather, climate of the Earth 7. Current climetic fluctuation, climate of atmospheric ground layer 8. Introduction to the studies hydrology and oceanography 9. Oceanography 10. Hydrography water streams 11. Hydrology water streams 12. Underground waters 13. Hydrology of lakes and morasses, characteristics underground and surface waters 14. Water in unyielding state

Learning outcomes
Acquisition of cognitions from physical geography of the Czech Republic. Geological conditions of the Czech Republic - development, principal geological formations, geological regionalization of the Czech Republic. Relief of the Czech Republic - overview of important geomorphologic shapes and types of relief, rules for the regionalization of relief, characteristics of geomorphologic units. Climate of the Czech Republic - general climatic factors, typical weather situations, climatic regions. Hydrology of the Czech Republic - main water streams and their catchment areas, important water sheets, underground waters. Structure of the soil cover in the Czech Republic - overview of general soil types, pedo-geographical regionalization. Bio-geographical conditions of the Czech Republic. Nature, landscape and environmental protections in the Czech Republic.

Students work up the seminar work on a given subject and will be present this seminar work . Further they will write 2 blind map with elements of physical geography of the Czech Republic
