Course content
Main solving themes - definitions and structures of cartography and geodesy, history of cartography, development and the actual state of map's projection and of the Real Estate Cadastre in Czechia, mathematic cartography, geodetic work and field mapping, production, processing, features and content of maps and plans, cartographic indicators, cartographic generalization, thematic cartography, types and usage of maps and maps related graphic representations, topography and cartographic measurement, current cartographic works, state map series of Czechia, evaluation and selection of cartographic works, cartographic and geodetic institutions.

Learning outcomes
Acquisition of cognitions and skills from cartography and its partial disciplines, topography, geodesy and the Real Estate Cadastre.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

Active participation in seminars. Drawing up and submitting (at specified terms) cartographic exercise. Successful completion of a credit test, written examination and oral examination.
