- Sources of scientific information, citation of literature - Principles of processing gained knowledge to literature review - The structure of the bachelor thesis - Preparation of a lecture/presentation of the results of scientific work (abstract, poster) - Presentation technique

Learning outcomes
|
The course aims to involve students in a series of seminars continuously taking place at the Faculty of Agriculture, the University of South Bohemia. The student is actively involved not only through his/her participation but also by introducing the topic of their own bachelor's thesis.
Graduates of the course are ready to create and defend a bachelor's thesis.

Prerequisites
|
Basic orientation in the studied field, basics of biology, knowledge of working with presentation software.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Colloquium
The student should be able to work independently with text and data.
