Course content |
Definition of the concept of hereditary disorder of livestock health. Congenital and hereditary diseases. Methodical approaches to the diagnosis of hereditary diseases, genotyping at the gene level and classical breeding methods for detecting carriers of pathological alleles. Hereditary disorders of health in individual species of livestock.

The aim of the course is to acquaint doctoral students with hereditary health disorders in livestock and their diagnosis.
