Course content
1 - Overview of basic software equipment 2 - Working with the MS Windows command line 3-4 - MS Excel - basic and advanced functionality 5-6 - MS Excel - functions and their use 7 - MS PowerPoint - principles of correct presentation 8-9 - Online and offline tools for working with data 10 - Software interoperability

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
  • Class attendance - 40 hours per semester
  • Preparation for classes - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 30 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to teach students the basic skills of computer work so that they are able to easily perform basic data analysis and present them appropriately.
The students are able to work with a PC at an advanced user level.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of computer technology at the basic user level is assumed.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam

Active participation in exercises, protocols from laboratory exercises, understanding the curriculum defined for the exam.
