Course content
|
Study of this subject includes introduction to teoretical prerequisites nad practical methods of animal genome modification from transgenesis, production GMO till animal cloning and reproductive and therapeutical tissue cloning and its usage in veterinary and human practices. The subject includes problems of isolation and embryo cultivation, its genotypic and phenotypic evaluation, nucleus transfer and other methods applied in artifical reproduction process.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this subject is to introduce with methods and procedures leading from of genetic modification till animal cloning and its practical usage.
Students will be acquainted with methods and procedures leading to genetic modifications, nuclear transfer and cloning of animals.

Combined exam
Requirement for adequate knowledge of previous genetic and zootechnical disciplines, in particular reproduction and physiology of animals.
