Course content

Learning outcomes
Course is a follow-up in historical-sociological probes into partial themes of music history graphic, lectures focus particularly on music events of 19th and 20th century.
Ability to perceive music as a specific culturally-sociological phenomenon.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of the most important evolution tendencies and personalities of classical European music (at the level Music history I-III).

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar work

Students get credit for completing seminar work in which they prove ability to work alone with appropriate historiographical theme and work adequately with secondary literature and music material.
