1- Basic music forms 2- Interval relations between basic tones 3- Major scale, common chord and fourth chord 4- Parallel minor scale 5- Interval relations between chromatic modified tones 6- Modal system 7- Enharmonica 8- Whole tone and chromatic scale 9- Exotic scale, overall summary 10- Chords. Common chord. 11- Turns of common chords 12- Chords structure from given tone 13- Seventh chords 14- Credit test

Learning outcomes
This module provides students with the elementary knowledge of the tonal system of Europian music. A special emphasis is put on scales, intervals and chords training. The students will gain the capability of orientation in tonal music and an understanding of the relationships in the tonal system.
Students will get a basic knowledge on Music Theory.

Written examination

Mastering of theoretical basics of music: musical scale, intervals, chords including of harmonious cadence T-S-D.Final written test.
