Course content
1. Basic didactic competence of teacher 2. Informatic education goals 3. Forms and approaches teaching in computer lab 4. Topics: a) computer science: algorithmization, coding, graphs and structures, processes and automatization, data processing b) IT: digital literacy, text and graphics editing, e-safety 5. Teacher's preparation of education 6. Creativity in informatic tasks 7. Situational informatic tasks 8. Preparing curricula, tasks and activities selection with recpect to main goals of education

Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Skills training, Work activities (workshops)
  • Preparation for classes - 15 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 30 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 15 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Main aim of this introductory course is to give students basics of understandingof educational content in areas of digital literacy and computational thinking.
Graduate is expected to understand educational goals and to concretize in pupils activities and to find appropriate tasks and analyze how much the task belongs to informatics or difital literacy area. Graduate should be able to create informatic tasks and to prepare a lesson from content point of view.
Prerequisites
Programming I We strongly recommend to sign to this subject not earlier than in 3-rd grade of bachelor study.

Student performance assessment, Seminar work

3 small works (creation of task settings, completion of educational goals) Output to the portfolio: individual or group seminar work - teaching aid or project for informatics education incl. defense Active presence at seminars (80 %)
