Course content
1. Basic teacher didactic skills 2. Aims of ICT education 3. Forms and methodology of teaching in computer lab 4. Thematical units: text editing, pianting, using the Internet 5. Algorithm development basics 6. Robotic toys: design, construction, control 7. Programming of robotic toys, using in education 8. Work with information, data handling 9. Lesson planning 10. Using textbooks and other sources 11. Educational unit leading 12. Forms of work organization (groups, projects, individual approach) 13. Mistake and its analysis 14. Pupils work evaluation

Learning outcomes
The course in Didactics of Informatics is to prepare future teachers for managing and teaching the subject. It presents basic topics, forms and methods of work in the computer lab.
The student is expected to be able to understand the terminology and educational goals of infomratics at lower secondary school, to orientate himself in particular thematic units, to master any software being taught, to elaborate topics for computer-aided tuition in a didactic way, to plan lessons methodically.

Active attendance at seminars (80 %). Elaboration of three short-dated homeworks Elaboration of the seminar work - educational tool or educational project for teaching ICT
