Course content
1. Introduction to bitmap graphics 2. Character of work with graphics, work with masks, transparency 3. Vector graphics - objects and attributes 4. Editation of shape of objects, nodes 5. Grouping of objects, order, grid and layers 6. Different nature of work in bitmap and vector graphic editor, sophisticated editing tools 7. Photoeditation, trim, colour balancing 8. Web graphics . basic specification 9. Animated pictures - creation, editation, settings 10. Combination of different types of graphics software 11. Digital video editing, scenary, trim, subtitles, transitions 12. PDF format, view and export. Print. Other graphical terms (colour depth, DPI) 13. Computer presentations, fundamentals of creating presentations, warp of the presentation, using graphics 14. Own creative work, preparation of educational tools of graphical character

Learning outcomes
Introduction to user graphics for future teachers. Practical user work in particular graphic editors with accent to own creative activities aimed to student's field of study
Student acquires basic user skills in work with graphics, drawing, editing of photography, graphics exporting in use for lesson purposes or producing teaching material. Student is expected to be able to use basic informations about the nature of the graphics and digitalization, about graphic formats and other concepts (color depth, DPI, transparency, layers, animation) in their practical work.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of creative work (musical, visual, literary)

Seminar work: student produces two graphical products (one in bitmap and one in vector graphics). At least one of them has to be used as an educational tool in teaching of student's field of study.
