Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to present an overview of modern and current field of multimedia technology in the lectures to students, and especially practical experience from their creation and processing in the exercises. The emphasis will be placed on that as well as on teamwork . Different multimedia areas will be presented in independent topics. Graphics will focus in particular on supplementing the knowledge of 2D and 3D graphics and image transformation, the hardware for graphics and 3D graphics. The fields of audio and video will also be discussed in detail, again with an emphasis on practical use. Attention will be also focused on the process of multimedia creation. A separate section will be focused on multimedia and their distribution through the Internet. The content of lectures will be theoretical tasks related to the topic. As a part of the seminars the students will be familiarized with modern technology, which will be used in teams to solve practical projects.
Graduate of the Course will have an overview of the instruments and methods of processing and creation of multimedia, particularly in the field of graphics, audio and video. In these areas he will also be able to work independently.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of student's work activities (technical works)

Elaboration of all short - term tasks (from week to week). Elaboration of the seminar assignment on engaged subject (min. 30 points, max. 60 points) Passing the final test (min. 20 points, max . 40 points). Obtaining min. 60 points in total.
