Course content
Training of digital literacy of pre primary teachers - pictures and multimedia - internet, communication, social networks - digital camera, video - touch control, interactive board Software environments for children Digital and robotic toys Basics of algorithmization and computational thinking Didactics of working with digital technologies Integration of digital technologies into kindergarten environment Health and safety with digital technologies

Learning outcomes
The course prepares preschool teachers to digital technology presence in children's and preschool life. The aim is to prepare teachers for reasonable and risk-free use of technology within work with children and how to engage them in educational activity.
Graduates is supposed to be able to - understand the role of digital technologies in modern education - plan and assess development of childrens' skills using digital technologies to playing and learning - mind how to incorporate digital technologies into classroom, to create a digital playground - distinguish age adequacy and assess possible negatives their exploitation - to know and respect precautions nad health protection in work with technologies

student uses digital technology as a user

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of student's work activities (technical works), Seminar work

Active attendance on seminars. Creation of educational aid for small children for an interactive whiteboard. Creation of a report about situation at a particular kindergarden in the area of using DT and posible future development or realization of education at a particular kindergarden with using robotic or programable toys.
