Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book)
Learning outcomes
The aim is to orientate the student in the area of using computers in mathematics, provide him/her an overview and competences in the area of using different types of techno-logies supporting mathematics education in the aspect of methodology as well as research.
The student will understand different aspects of computer assisted learning of mathematics in terms of didactics, mathematics and technology. He/she will be able to plan and analyse the lessons.
Prerequisites
The student masters some of the basic types of mathematical software (CAS, DGE, spreadsheets, microworlds) on user´s level.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam

Seminar project - the student elaborates a given extract of a computer assisted Mathematics lesson. Consequently, executes a minor research work or elaborates a methodical paper for using computer in class, which is to be specified.
