Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with the applied branch of the economy focused on environmental aspects with an emphasis on creative thinking in determining the costs and benefits of various measures.
Student is familiar with the course in the environmental terms used in the applied part of the economy. Student understands the basic environmental relations in the economy and can describe and quantify them. Student is also able to develop an economic study of an environmental nature.
Prerequisites
The course is not subject to any other material. However, some pens are recommended in environmental science (e.g. EIA) and economics (basics of economics).

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination, Seminar work

Credit requirements: Active participation in seminars (max. 2 absences), seminar work in the min. 15 pages (in pair of students) and presentation (presentation itself 10 minutes + 10 minutes of discussion). Requirements for the test: written test from the theory (multiple choice).
