Course content
Lectures: 1. Definition of surveying, development of the field, mathematical minimum for geodesy. 2. Valid regulations, coordinate systems, cartographic representations, terminology. 3. Measurement of horizontal directions and zenith angles. 4. Basic coordinate calculations (basic geodetic calculations). 5. Place point fields. 6. Measurement methods in positional point fields. 7. Length measurement, length reduction and correction, length measurement errors 8. Methods of measuring topography 9. Methods of measuring topography 10. Error theory 11. Surveying law 12. Organizational structure of the ČÚZK department, metrological rules 13. Theoretical foundations - photogrammetry, laser scanning 14. Theoretical foundations of GNSS Exercises: 1. Introduction to exercises, introduction to instrumentation 2. Centering and horizontalization of theodolite (total station) 3. Basic geodetic calculations 4. Construction of point field 5. Topography focus 6. Practical test of centering and horizontalization of equipment (Practical part of credit test) 7. Credit test From each exercise, except for the third exercise, a group task is prepared, which consists of group measurement, processing of measured data and preparation of a technical report. The second part of the tasks is the individual numerical processing of the simulated measurement, which corresponds to the group solution.
