Course content
1.Career counseling, meaning, essence. 2. Labor market and its laws. 3. Prerequisites of Applicability in the Labor Market in the Czech Republic and the EU. 4. Labor-law employment conditions. 5. Possibilities of creating future job opportunities in university studies. 6. Orientation in professional self-realization. 7. Assistance in learning professional prerequisites. 8. Assistance in routing career development. 9. Obtaining and evaluating the information needed for proper career choices. 10. Creation of CV, motivation letter and other required documents. 11. Preparation for a personal interview and its course. 12. Use of communication and speaking techniques, preparation for meetings. 13. Managing personal finances in specific life situations. 14. The possibilities of setting up and financing your own business.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)

Learning outcomes
The subject of Career Counseling includes selected topics related to the choice of the professional career of the students in their decision making on the job, even during the course of study. Career counseling puts forward in different ways how to succeed the market for work, what to do in this process, what to do to avoid what to avoid. The issue of the first steps of employment, including career development, is addressed not only in general, but also in the context of the legal and psychological support of the student, based on his knowledge, possibilities and interests. Practical emphasis is placed on the specific possibilities, procedures and means for the formation of a professional career and its application in the conditions of the current labor market. The goal of the Career Counseling course is to create during the study the conditions and space for the students to learn the labor market, to check their possibilities, limitations and practical chances for practical application. Teaching of Career Counseling also includes professional consulting services that are available on a regular and regular basis to all students.

Test, Seminar work

Elaborate the required documents and take part in the selection process. Credit requirements: - participation in seminars, passing a semester paper Examination requirements: Written test (60% of the grade).
