Course content
Lectures: 1 - Introduction to the subject, contents and aim. Management as a science, theory, art and profession. 2 - Management communication. 3 - Planning 4 - Organizing and organization structure 5 - Decision making. 6 - Control processes 7 - Leading of employees and teams. 8 - Theory of motivation. 9 - Communication. 10 - Human resources management 11 - 12 - Organization culture and change. 13 - New trends in management.Strategic management Seminars: 1 - Assignment of project, creation of a team, vote of head of tem, preparation of plan. 2 - Managers comunication. 3 - External environment. STEP (PESTE) analysis. 4 - Application of Model for industry analysis (Porter's five forces). 5 - Application of analysis of internal environment. 6 - SWOT analysis 7 - Evaluation of different organizational structure, 8 - Leading of employees. 9 - Team work. 10 - TEST 11 - MBT 12 - Time management. . 13 - Closing presentation of projects.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)

Learning outcomes
The aim of subject is to provide basic theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of management focused on managerial activities (functions) performed by managers. Students acquire information about theoretical attitude, principles, methods and techniques of management. They can compare this information with practice in company.
Students understand the principles of management and their application in a company.
Prerequisites
The knowledge of these problems from intermediate school.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Test, Seminar work

Credit requirements: Presence and activity on seminars. Test 60% Examination requirements: Written examination (70% success rate), then verbal examination.
