Course content
1. The importance of hunting and its economy, hunting in our country and in other, especially neighboring European countries 2. Hunting education, research, traditions, culture and promotion 3. Legislation on hunting, weapons and ammunition, nature and landscape protection, animal protection against cruelty and veterinary legislation 4. Basic regulations of the European Union issued for the protection of fauna and flora, basic international conventions concerning the protection of fauna and flora 5. - 6. Hunting zoology and game biology 7. - 8. Ecology and nature protection, game care, principles of game breeding and protection, creation and protection of game environment 9. Game nutrition and game care 10. - 11. The most important diseases of game, prevention of these diseases and their treatment 12. Game breeding in breeding areas 13. Pheasant and branch industry 14. Ethology of game and its use in hunting practice 1. Hunting facilities 2. - 4. Hunting, hunting rules, hunting methods including falconry, hunting habits and customs and hunting speech 5. - 6. Hunting weapons, ammunition, aids and equipment and rules of their use and safety measures 7. - 8. Hunting cynology 9. Rights and obligations of the hunting manager and hunting guard 10. Creation and use of hunting grounds, hunting community 11. Determining the quality classes of hunting grounds, determining the minimum and standardized numbers of game 12. - 13. Hunting management plans, keeping hunting records and statistics 14. Skin treatment, treatment and evaluation of hunting trophies and detection and handling of biologically valuable material

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to enable students to obtain a higher professional hunting exam according to § 58 par. 3, Act No. 449/2001 Coll., On hunting, as amended. To acquaint them with the individual professional areas that make up hunting so that they acquire a qualification for solving issues in the field of game management and the exercise of hunting law.
Possibility of obtaining a higher professional hunting exam
