Course content
|
Purpose and usage of parks. Herbal and wooden communities. Parks settlement, trees and herbs choose. Technology of outplanting and upkeeping of special termophilic plant species and their use in the climatic conditions of the Czech republic. The essentials of project documentation by parks settlement and enlargement. Supplemental buildings and equipments in parks. Run and upkeeping of park green. Forest gardens and botanic gardens. Park forests and forestry parks. Special purpose forests and their zoning, importance mainly in suburban agglomerations. National parks forests and forests of forestry importance. Legal norms.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this subject is to clear up the basic principles of setting and upkeeping of green in urban and rural areas and in anthropogenic landscape in general.
The student will be oriented in terms of planting and maintenance of trees and plants in cities.
