Course content
topics of lectures: 1. History of real estate registration and rights to them in our territory - the oldest cadastres, land records, land register 2. Post-war land records until 1992 3. Basic rights registered in the real estate cadastre, basic types of documents 4. Act No. 359/1992 Coll., On surveying and cadastral bodies - organization of the ministry, basic areas of activities of individual bodies 5. Act No. 256/2013 Coll., Cadastral Act - basic terms, subject of CN, content of CN, cadastral register 6. Act No. 256/2013 Coll., Cadastral Act - registration of rights in the CN (deposit, record, note), administration of the CN, public of the CN 7. Cadastral decree - content, binding force, content of the CN extract, geometric plan, procedures for renewal of the cadastral register 8. Decree on the provision of data from the CN, Decree on the determination of the form for the deposit application 9. Basic provisions of Act No. 500/2004 Coll., Administrative Procedure Code 10. Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to provide graduates with a basic knowledge of the content of legislation governing the status and tasks of the Real Estate Cadastre, as well as knowledge of relevant standards related to planning, building regulations and land law.
Students understand the basic issues of theory and practice of building and land law and cadastral law. They are able to orientate themselves in the real estate cadastre of the Czech Republic, in construction proceedings and in the issues of the land fund in the Czech Republic.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Seminar work

Credit requirements: Active participation in seminars (max. 2 absences), seminar work in the min. 15 pages (in pair of students) and presentation (presentation itself 10 minutes + 10 minutes of discussion). Requirements for the test: written test from the theory (multiple choice).
