Lectures: 1 - Introduction to the subject, contents and aim. Management as a science, theory, art and profession. 2 - Management concepts and the historical evolution of management. 3 - Strategic management. 4 - Planning. 5 - Organizing and organization structure. 6 - Human resources management. 7 - Leading of employees and teams. 8 - Theory of motivation. 9 - Communication. 10 - Decision making. 11 - Control processes. 12 - Organization culture and change. 13 - New trends in management.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of subject is to provide basic theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of management focused on managerial activities (functions) performed by managers. Students acquire information about theoretical attitude, principles, methods and techniques of management. They can compare this information with practice in company.
Students understand the principles of management and their application in a company.

Prerequisites
|
The knowledge of these problems from intermediate school.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Written examination, Seminar work
Credit requirements: Presence and activity on seminars. Test 60% Examination requirements: Written examination (70% success rate), then verbal examination.
