Course content
Administrative act No. 500/2004 Sb., environmental laws - basic legislative arrangements for air, water, farm, land and forest, practical knowledge of the environmental law related to state offices and district departments of ecology, application of the environmental laws with countryside protection and stabilization - EIA.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Written action (comprehensive tests, clauses), Work with multi-media resources (texts, internet, IT technologies)
  • Preparation for classes - 20 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 16 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 48 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Students will comprehensively learn all the legislation connected with agricultural, forest and water management with respect to the environment protection and protection of nature and the countryside, including the public notices and methodological advice. Students will be acquainted with the problems executed on district departments of ecology.
The student is able to orient himself in the legal norms governing agricultural management and nature conservation.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of civil law.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Seminar work

The student will prepare a seminar paper presenting the practical application of the legal framework of the selected activity within the agro-forestry sector to the production activity. It must be clear from the work the operator, the manufacturer, the trader, etc., must have technical background, how they have to proceed and which records they must keep in order to meet the requirements of the control bodies. The seminar work will be prepared in the form of a PPT presentation with a maximum of 25 pictures and will be presented at the joint final seminar.
