Course content
Lectures: 1 - Introduction to the subject. Concepts of managerial thinking. 2 - The principles of process management (for example team work, principle 3S). 3- Organization oriented on customers. 4- Strategic management and its import for process management. 5- Methodology of implementation of process management (methods of redesign of process, method 3P). 6- Process maps and using of system ARIS. 7- Management of changes. 8- Team working. 9 - Management of knowledge. 10- Value management. 11- CRM. 12 - The contemporary praxes of successful companies. Seminars: 1 assign seminar work 2 presentation 3 presentation

Learning outcomes
The aim of subject is to acquire the essence of process management in the meaning of to obtain a success and efficiency of companies. It is laid place emphasis on system thinking, behaviour and creative leadership of co-workers. This subject deepens knowledge and is a follow-up to an earlier one from area of management. Course annotation: Management of processes and activities in the organization is one of the basic activities of managers. The word process is perhaps one of the most used words in companies ever. We implement, monitor, improve, shorten processes, but sometimes we also stretch, complicate, slow down. Processes are ubiquitous, whether they are good or bad and whether we leave them to their fate or manage them through process management or project management. The aim of the subject process management is to master the essence of process management and process management. The content includes the following thematic units: historical development and causes of process management, the nature of processes, principles of process management (such as teamwork, 3S principle), business model, strategy and its implementation, competence management, value management and leadership.
Students understand the principles of process management and its application in companies.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites for the course are commonly required skills and knowledge at this level of education, the course is not conditioned by the completion of another course.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Seminar work

Credit Requirements: Elaboration of an individual seminar paper of at least eight A4 pages. Knowledge demonstration of lectured subject through the test, total score to meet the limit - at least 15 correct answers out of 30 questions asked. Exam requirements: During the exam students will demonstrate their ability to apply the knowledge of the subject by solving concrete practical problems. The total score is based on the results of the credit test and the oral examination.
